Dark nights with poe and munro endings3/12/2023 ![]() LongevityĪfter playing through the game three times I still never got 100% because there are so many different interactions and choices you can make that really span out the story. In today’s market that seems to be a rare account so well done D’Avekki Studios. Throughout multiple playthroughs, I didn’t experience anything wrong at all with the game. The audio is great and some music really does give you a spooky vibe. She’s brilliant and you just feel for her character and her development through the six episodes. It’s the performance of Leah Cunard as Munro that steals the show. Well, graphics are hard to explain because it’s all live-action but the performances of both Poe and Munro are brilliant. You can sit back and think about what you want to choose which makes the experience a whole lot better in my opinion. I always believe that in these kinds of games you should have the option to choose a time limit on the choices you make. This option I really loved because it is quite easy to get distracted and you may end up making a choice you didn’t want to. One thing that I did notice is something that you don’t often see in other FMV games is the option to give you unlimited time in making a choice. Knowing that each choice you make is going to affect the game later on. There’s nothing in the way of jump scares but it’s more about suspense. I did enjoy the supernatural aspect of some episodes because that genre is right up my street and they manage to pull it off really well. They just bounce off each other and you really grow to love them and get more and more involved with their story. The chemistry between the two is absolutely brilliant. I will admit that for the first hour or so the character of Poe was incredibly annoying and others may think the same thing but after a while, he grows on you. It takes you through an episodic journey that spans over six episodes with each one getting you more intrigued and drawn into its crazy and wacky story. The story revolves around two radio DJs John Pope and Ellis Munro who are happy to take on cases that revolve around the weird, strange, and supernatural. The whole game is making quick decisions with every decision affecting the game in later stages. Well with this being an FMV game the gameplay isn’t the usual you will be accustomed to. The game gives you one hell of a wild ride. Dark Nights with Poe and Munro – Tune In and Sit BackĪs someone who is basically a veteran when it comes to FMV video games, I can say that nothing can surprise me from this genre but I stand corrected. It gives players the freedom of choice to make their own path so sit back and get ready for a creepy ride in this Dark Nights with Poe and Munro review. First released on the PC in May 2020 and on Playstation 4 and Xbox One in May 2021. Dark Nights with Poe and Munro is a supernatural FMV video game.
